I am a volunteer and adopter from this rescue. The love they have for all of the dogs in their care (and all dogs in general) is so heartwarming - it is the reason I spend hours a week devoted to helping them out anyway I can. I wouldn't do that if I knew otherwise. This rescue is amazing!
I've adopted both of my boys from this rescue and the experience was wonderful. I corresponded via Email with Joyce and while her responses were brief, she herself is a wonderful person and cares deeply for every dog. I got my boys two months apart, and when I went down to meet my second boy, Gentry, I brought my first one, Liam, with me. Liam was excited to see Joyce. He ran to her with a huge smile on his doggy face. Both of my boys are well behaved and fairly tolerant. They are able to hike with me off leash and stay by my side, only venturing off occasionally, and never very far. This is all with no training. I will, when I'm ready for my third dog, return here to get another sweet pup.

Joyce and her husband have devoted their lives to saving homeless dogs and take impeccable care of them! I have been out to their place several times to volunteer. They only feed the best of dog foods and give supplements to them each day. They are all so happy! But, their ultimate goal is to find a forever home for each of them. If you are looking to adopt or foster a dog, please look over all of their furbabies waiting for homes!
Joyce Deckard is a noble person who has devoted her life to rescuing, restoring to health, and finding loving homes for a host of homeless dogs. She deserves our utmost respect. Two of my beloved dogs were adopted from her facility. God bless her and her work.
